Traditional drummers to play a special wedding march, or a wedding in the bush with the Masai Warriors and the wildlife as special guests.
The wedding flowers, including bridal bouquet and boutonnières, wedding cake, and Champagne can also be arranged together with a photographer or a private band or choir.
On the coast the wedding ceremony can be arranged on a traditional dhow.

Documents needed for your wedding in Kenya
- Birth’ certificates.
- Passports.
- Certificate of No Impediment or sworn affidavit (In case of not having married before) Text can be provided
- Decree absolute (in cases of divorcees).
- Death certificate (in cases of widow or widower).
- Details of couples’ professions.
- Official translations of documents stamped by legal authority in case the documents are written in another language than English
- Two copies of the above documents must be forwarded to our office in Nairobi, at least two weeks before arrival in Kenya.
- The original documents should be presented together with the application for a special marriage license to the Registrar of Marriages at least three working days prior to the wedding.
- The couple has to be in Kenya at least for 4 days when the application is made.
At the end of the marriage ceremony the couple will receive the wedding certificate.
A Certified Copy of the Entry into the Register of Marriages is available after three working days.
