Uganda Gorillas and wildlife ● Bwindi ● Lake Mburo 5 days Guided Driving Safari
This safari starts and finishes in Entebbe. It can also be done from Kigali in Rwanda, or from Kampala in Uganda [The Bwindi gorilla permit is included in the safari cost].
Day 1: Entebbe Upon arrival at Entebbe International airport. You will be met and transferred to your hotel for overnight.
Day 2: Bwindi Forest Depart on the southbound road. You will drive towards Buhoma in the thick, impenetrable Bwindi Forest via Kabale. Accommodation at your tented camp.
Day 3: Gorilla Tracking You will be accompanied by a guide and porters; set off to the thick forest in search of gorillas. The terrain can be difficult, with steep slopes covered in dense vegetation that gives the park its name. In addition, the altitude of 5200 feet and more means participants do need to be physically fit. The time taken to track the gorillas varies enormously, from as little as half an hour to as much as 8 hours before one returns to camp. Difficulty, however, is not impossibility and coming face to face with the great primates is well worth it! Accommodation at your tented camp.
Day 4: Lake Mburo Depart for Mbarara, enjoying natural attractions en route. Proceed to Lake Mburo National Park, Uganda’s most conspicuous park, rich in wildlife and large colonies of birds. Enjoy a boat trip on Lake Mburo. Accommodation at your tented camp.
Day 5: Kampala - Flight After breakfast, you will drive back to Kampala arriving early afternoon and will be transferred transfer to Entebbe airport for your homebound flight.

You choose your excursion: Either visit the natural, beautiful-looking Lake Mutanda, surrounded by the volcanoes or take a walk on the shores or continue directly to Mgahinga. Accommodation at your Lodge.
Day 5: Mgahinga Forest The choice is yours; you may choose between tracking the gorillas family leaving in the forest or go for a guided nature walk in the forest for butterflies, plant and bird species or climb a volcano. Accommodation at your Lodge.

Uganda Chimps and Birds ● Queen Elizabeth National Park 4 days Guided Driving Safari
Queen Elizabeth National Park (QE), below the famous Rwenzori mountains, is an African savannah park, consisting of plain surroundings. The beautiful steeply forested Kyambura Gorge nearby, is home not only to chimpanzees but also the red-tailed monkey, black and white Colobus and many bird species.
Day 1: Entebbe Upon arrival at Entebbe International airport. You will be met and transferred to your hotel for overnight.
Day 2: Queen Elizabeth National Park Drive on the southbound road to the Queen Elizabeth National Park, arriving late afternoon. Overnight at your lodge.
Day 3: Chimps tracking Visit Kyambura gorge to track chimpanzees, man’s closest relation. The trip along the Kazinga Channel is particularly rewarding for viewing a variety of game, especially hippo, buffalo, elephant and a vast array of birds. Overnight at your lodge.
Day 4: Kampala - Flight After breakfast, you will drive back to Kampala arriving early afternoon and will be transferred transfer to Entebbe airport for your homebound flight.

Gorillas in Rwanda ● Parc National Des Volcans (PNV) 4 days Guided Driving Safari
Parc National des Volcans (PNV) in the north of Rwanda where about 300 mountain gorillas live. There are four habituated gorilla families – Amahoro, “Group 13”, Sabinyo and Susa - each of the groups allows up to 8 participants per day.
Day 1: Kigali Upon arrival at Kanombe (Kigali) airport you will be met and transferred to your selected hote for overnight.
Day 2: Kinigi Park - PNV Depart north of Kigali to Kinigi or Muko via Ruhengeri. Enjoy the rolling hills for which Rwanda is well known. Transfer to Kinigi Park Headquarters to track gorillas in Parc National des Volcans (translated: Volcanoes National Park). Gorilla tracking through the forest, hills and swamps can be tough, arduous and tiring, sometimes taking up to 8 hours in the forest. But coming face to face with the great primates is well worth the effort. Overnight at your selected lodge.
Day 3: Parc National des Volcans The choice is yours: go gorilla tracking or climb the awesome Visoke volcano or trek to Karisoke Research Centre which Dian Fossey, the famous primatologist, set up, or visit local communities. Overnight at your selected lodge.

You may choose to visit the natural, beautiful-looking Lake Mutanda, surrounded by the volcanoes, take a walk on the shores or continue directly to Bwindi. Accommodation at your selected lodge.
Day 7: Bwindi Either track gorillas again or go for a guided nature walk in the forest for butterflies, plant and bird species. We suggest you visit the local villages to discover the rural life. Accommodation at your lodge.
Day 8: Kigali – Your flight Depart for Kigali in Rwanda via Lake Bunyonyi in Kabale. Continue to Rwanda passing the Katuna border. Transfer to the airport for your flight.
