GlobalStar, which has a diverse partner network of over 80 market-leading agencies, 75 countries, and representing over US$13 billion in annual travel sales, will leverage its local market expertise, innovative technology platform, consolidated data management system and global account structure to deliver a consistent, comprehensive travel experience for Orbitz for Business.
Commenting on the partnership, Frank Petito, President, Orbitz said, “We are excited to work with GlobalStar... Under the agreement, Orbitz for Business customers with travellers located in any of the 75 countries within the GlobalStar network will now receive local service and support from a partner agency. All existing corporate travel policies and reporting guidelines – including security, compliance, expense management, traveller profiles and negotiated supplier rates – will be applied to new international bookings.
